Kinetic Shadows Design Studio
In considering the design of this site I wanted to accomplish a couple of goals. One was to create a unique graphic experience through the use of illustrated characters and secondly was to cut down on maintenance by eliminating multiple pages. The solution was a single page site that extensively uses jQuery with a large background image. This culminated in the dark or "shadow" version of the site. The "light" version of the site is a more traditional layout with dark text on a light background and a central "billboard" for the main imagery. The second theme was added to allow users to view the site who prefer not to read light text on a dark field of color.
